Our Christmas play preparations are in full swing and the children have been impressing us with their singing throughout every practice. They will be bringing home a slip next week with their parts and details of the coloured clothing we would like them to wear if possible.
This week we have been looking at the story “How to catch a star” and enjoyed some small world play with the rockets and space toys. On our tuff spot we have been making different sized playdough stars and size ordering them on our mats.
With December 1st right around the corner we have been working on our preschool advent calendar, the children have been crafting little bird houses ready to hang on the wall and open throughout December.
On Wednesday we had Daniel, our African drummer, come in for his music session. As well as working on their rhythm, the children have begun learning a new song.
This week we have been playing lots of table top games to work on our sharing and turn taking as well as our peppa pig role play sets.
