Well what a week it has been! We were incredibly proud of all the children on Wednesday, from all the hard work they have done practicing their songs and learning their roles, to standing on the stage in front of all our families. I'm sure you'll agree they did an amazing job!
On Monday we made the annual preschool Christmas cake for the children to enjoy at our Christmas party next week. The children helped to weigh and measure the ingredients before mixing it all together and watching it bake away in the oven for the remainder of the day.
We enjoyed several walks around the local area. One was up to the church to sing our Christmas songs in front of their Christmas tree. We then had fun playing in the fallen leaves in the shelter. Another to the local housing estate to watch the diggers work; we were fortunate that one of the workmen stopped to answer all of the children's inquisitive questions.
The children have been busy making their Christmas crafts ready to bring home at the end of the week. As we wouldn't want to give away the final surprises we won't say too much more!
We're very much looking forward to one final week of all things Christmas before rounding off the term with our Christmas party on Friday.
