Autumn Activities week 14

Well that’s a wrap on our Christmas celebrations at preschool, we have all enjoyed this time immensely!

This week we’ve had festive fun with our activities. The children have enjoyed working on their scissor skills cutting Santa’s paper beard as well as working in Santa’s workshop. They cut the wrapping paper to size and used sellotape to wrap the presents to put under our Christmas tree, as well as writing cards to post in the Christmas post box.

For our water play we added cranberries, oranges, apples, brussel sprouts and pine needles to make Christmas potions and to host tea parties.

When picking up the children this week you may have noticed the distinct Christmas smell coming from our kitchen, we have been very busy making multiple batches of gingerbread to turn into gingerbread men and one big gingerbread house.

That just leaves us to say we hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year. We look forward to welcoming the children back into preschool on Monday 5th January!
