I’m sure you will agree it’s been great to finally have some sunshine! We’ve been making the most of it and spending the majority of our time outside in the garden area. We’ve enjoyed creating recipes in the mud kitchen, playing with the water wheels in the water tray, swinging in our tree and riding our bikes, trikes and scooters.
As it was St Patricks Day this week we enjoyed a special music session with our instruments and explored different textures with our green gloop and playdough.
On Tuesday our older children went on a bus adventure to Paignton Library. We walked to the bus stop on Totnes Road, caught the bus into Paignton bus station and walked to the Library. Initially the children explored the children’s area, played some of the board games available and then chose a book to sit down and look through. We were incredibly impressed with all the children and how well they listened, walked and travelled on the bus. As it was such a success we hope to repeat it again next term.
